How does a mind think like this...?

There's nothing whatsoever that indicates any hate crime," said John Gill, special counsel to Knox County District Attorney General Randy Nichols. "There are things that really, coincidentally, would prove just the opposite.

What in the world makes John Gill think in such a manner? In his world 5 blacks murdering, raping and torturing a white couple "indicates" "nothing whatsoever" about a "hate crime." Since the above are all crimes, heinous crimes, John Gill is claiming murder, rape and torture "indicates" "nothing whatsoever" about hate. In fact, he states this claim because "coincidentally," there are "things" that would "prove" the "opposite." What would proving the "opposite" of a "hate crime" tell us...? That these guys (and girl) murdered, raped and torture for love and charity? This is beyond insanity. This is an incredible indication of mind slavery. John Gill is turning reality on its head and doing it for a crowd with no obvious reward for savaging his own integrity and credibility. Reminds me of another mind slave in Durham. Perhaps Mr. Gill will not stand by those words, but whoever put those blatantly illogical words in his head envisions many, many Americans believing in such in-your-face distortions.
